First day of 5th and 7th grade 💑

Second day of #motionx and I’m excited to see what God truths are spoken to her today. Last night seeing 16,000 students worship His name was a beautiful sight to see. Grateful to those who dedicate all their energy to make conferences like this happen. No sleep till motion is a legit statement for many. Was going through some old photos and came across this one from 2013. In my mind she will forever be this little superhero princess, but in some regards getting older hasn't been so easy for this one. Her first year in middle school was hard. Really hard. Birthday weeks always make me contemplate the years past. The years I have done well, the years that were left in a fog due to postpartum depression, the years of figuring out the stay at home motherhood life, the years finding myself as a working mom, and then this year being a homeschool teacher, nurse, and all the things in between. I always look to where I could have done better, my faults. I then have to remind myself these two never held me to some sort of standard. They loved me in every season and I loved them. Isn't that what I should be contemplating? The love that has grown since the moment they were known to be. In the end when they do move off and they reflect on their home life my number one desire if for them to know that they were always deeply loved.

The stigma against TV's in design is a funny one to me. Some of my favorite moments are curling up with the kiddos and watching a good movie. Those are some moments I wouldn't want to trade. For me, a take away from this space is that when every other element is oh so good then even a tv can't away from its beauty. .

Spent most my adolescence in a suburb of Boston and last night was the first time I got to experience a Red Sox game and it could not have been any more special. Thankful for this man making all my childhood dreams come true. .

Had such a great day exploring Boston with the Mr that I forgot to take pictures. We walked for miles, met many a Lyft drivers, ate in little Italy, and road a boat. Now we are picking up pizza (GF for me) and going to enjoy a movie and this view from our @airbnb loft. The only down side it the kiddos have yet to text me back once. Must mean they are having a blast back home so it’s not all bad. .
